Position Summary

Warehouse Supervisor coordinate receiving and outgoing shipment while maintain accuracy in inventory consistent with service and cost objectives.  This role oversee employee’s performance and meeting production goals. This role requires collaboration with all levels of organization team members, ensures the safety of team members, and delivers continuous training to warehouse team members in accordance with meeting daily organizational goals and expectations. Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the DC Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and executing department priorities to ensure supervisee follow organizational policy and procedures with the primary focus of production
  • Monitoring 5-20 employee productivity to provide positive feedback, verbal coaching, written disciplinary actions, as well as cyclical performance evaluations
  • Attendance and time keeping for all production team members: Timecards, Time off and Sick pay
  • Set goals for department performance as it pertains to individual employee performance and succession planning

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure accuracy of inventory and movement of goods received and shipped
  • Ensure all Warehouse Team Members adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain quality and efficiencies goals set by management
  • Collaborate with persons at all levels of the organization to achieve organizational objective
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • 2+ years prior supervisory experience, Associates Degree or better preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently
  • Ability to lead an effective and efficient meeting
  • Excellent employee relations skills including being an active listener, understanding how to appraise personnel, applying both positive and corrective feedback, being able to resolve conflicts
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
